We are open to other things so let us know if you have a suggestion.
To let us know you are interested please fill out the product submission form. There is a link at the bottom of the page. Be sure to include a URL where we can look at your work. If we think your items are a good fit for our store we will contact you so we can get started!
That being said, please don't be offended if your products are not approved for sale. We get a large number of requests and only have so many open spaces. If your application is not approved we will keep it in our records. As open spaces become available we will go through the archives to find consigners that meet our current needs.
Fees: You will receive 70% commission on consignment items that are sold and we will receive 30%. Payments will be made on the last day of the month via Paypal unless a personal check is requested. You don't have to worry about shipping or PayPal fees. Our percentage covers that. There are no registration fees or hidden costs. You will only be charged for each item that is sold. What do you have to lose? Nothing!
How does it work?: Once your items have been approved we will ask you mail the items to us (at your cost) and we will post them on our site. When mailing your products to us you must use delivery confirmation! Please include all tags, business cards, care instructions, samples, or anything else you would like mailed to the customer with his/her purchase. Pricing of the items is totally up to you. You may send digital photos, but please know that we may choose to take our own. Advertising, shipping to the customer, PayPal, and web hosting fees are all taken care of by Jolie Handmade.
Payments for sold items will be made on the last day of the month via PayPal (or personal check if requested). At the end of the month with your payment we will also mail an inventory list so that you may see which items have sold. Feel free to check in the shop at any time to see how your items are doing as it would be very difficult for me to send notification every single time someone sells an item!
Am I guaranteed to sell something?: We cannot promise your items will sell; however we can promise to do our best to promote and advertise Jolie Handmade and all of the shop's designers. We choose the best items that we think will be a good fit for the store. Inventory sheets of your merchandise are available upon request. You may discount your items as you see necessary. We will never discount an item without prior consent.
Cancellation: You may choose to remove your items from Jolie Handmade at any time. We will never remove items without prior consent. Shipping charges from Jolie Handmade back to the consigner are the responsibility of that consigner.
Benefits of selling with us: By selling with us you don't have the hassle of maintaining a store. We do all the work for you. We take care of listing, promotion, customer service, shipping, ect. You can just concentrate on doing what you do best, creating! We will never take ownership of the items you make! You will have a featured section on our website with your very own biography. Upon request we will also post a link to your personal website!
